You should say:
- who the person is
- how you know him/her
- what he/she does to help people
- and explain how you feel about this person.
When I read the cue card, the first person that came to my mind was Mr Lee, who is kind-hearted and often gives others a hand.
Mr Lee is a good neighbor of ours. I have known him since I was born. He lives in his old house which is filled with all sorts of flowers and plants. I was completely taken aback (ngạc nhiên) by his well-designed garden when I first set foot inside his house.
He has worked as a botanist for about 30 years so he has accumulated a range of hands-on experience about agriculture. He has such green fingers (mát tay) that he could design his garden like a professional garden. You know, he grows different types of flowers such as roses, sunflowers or daisy flowers so I truly admire his talent in farming.
Now he is already retired so he’s always willing to give a hand to anyone that needs it. People in our neighborhood often turn to him for advice about farming and agriculture. Our village is called “Green Village” thanks to his guidance and encouragement.
Sometimes, when his neighbors like our family go far away like going on a vacation, it’s Mr Lee who we ask to take care of our house and Nick, our dog. We find him really trusted and helpful. We feel incredibly grateful to have Mr Lee living around. He serves as an inspiration to me and others who know him.
