You should say:
- Who this person is
- When and where this person moved to your community
- How you know this person
- And explain how you feel about this person.
When I read the cue card, the first person that came to my mind was Mr Lee, who is kind-hearted and has influenced our community positively.
Mr Lee is a good neighbor of ours. He moved to our neighborhood 6 months ago. He lives in his old house which is filled with all sorts of flowers and plants. We were all completely taken aback by his well-designed garden when we first set foot inside his house.
He has worked as a botanist for about 30 years so he has accumulated a range of hands-on experience about agriculture. He has such green fingers (mát tay) that he could design his garden like a professional garden. You know, he grows different types of flowers such as roses, sunflowers or daisy flowers so I truly admire his talent in farming.
Now he is already retired and he always wants to do something to bring back to our community. He is environmentally conscious. He often asks people to join hands to protect the environment. Planting more trees is his first action and he guides all of us to do the same. Residents in our neighborhood turn to him for advice about farming and agriculture. We are excited to follow everything he plans out. Only after a few months, Our village is called “Green Village” thanks to his guidance and encouragement.
We feel incredibly grateful to have Mr Lee living around. He serves as an inspiration to me and others to protect the environment.
